Hello to my valued listeners. This week we will mostly discuss the markets...our firm's direction, and updates on our quantum algorithm / codebase. 1. We set three goals for the business this past Monday: We will share them with you, and how they shape our actions. 2. We are fully invested in the same 4 stocks. Earlier this week $STSA took a wild ride up (and back). We will discuss them $STSA $AKBA $CRBP & $AUTO. 3. This week's market is mixed and down. The markets are transitioning between industries. Going to look at the charts with you. 4. We met with DISA (DISA 101) after meeting with the 763'd ESS procurement team. This is a significant business opportunity we are evaluating. Reach out to be part of the process / solution. 5. More progress on our platform and solvers to optimize stock portfolios. In a significant departure from our three research papers, we have completed an 'all in one' code base to run from 4,600 stocks, validating down to 3,600+ stocks, and then finding the best portfolios. We are working on a new approach for using the D-Wave Quantum Annealing computer, and have to add that code into our platform / solvers. It is entirely new, and could provide significant 'quantum computing' benefit if it works well. 6. Will discuss the Federal Reserve Bank (FOMC) press conference from Thursday. It is likely the most important single event of the week. May discuss interest rates, inflation, and other financial metrics. 7. We have not updated our results for the 'Top-10' or 'Top-20' CQNS stock picks, as the market is in such a major transition. However, we do notice that our CQNS selected stocks do not continue rising when the overall market falls. They are not a hedge against market movement. 8. We set a goal to realize a certain level of profits in the markets this year. We are paying estimated income taxes on our earnings (which sure puts a damper on things). 9. It isn't just Oil and Gas exploration and production. Midstream corrected this week. Still worried that energy is cooling off, along with other interest-rate sensitive stocks. 10. We have started the process of becoming certified investment advisors with the State of Illinois. When that completes...then we can serve more clients! We will also start looking at SEC and FINRA certifications. No progress this week, but this is on our radar. 12. I found the first options trade that I liked, for almost 10 years. Unfortunately, I did not have the resources in place to trade it. It was a long-term call option for a stock that had been beaten up recently. The long-term fundamentals and value analysis were still there, but the short-term market traded lower and this call option (which is liquid) was trading lower. I wish you good luck in the markets and I hope you enjoy the video. June 18, 2021 We are quantum computing consultants who work with clients across industries.
